Ecosystem Services Public Policy

As part of The Center’s public policy programming, we coordinate partners around the region and beyond to develop and advocate for public policy that encourages the protection and stewardship of the ecosystem services that forests provide.

The Center’s ecosystem services policy efforts are focused on the 2012 Farm Bill, and we are developing and testing ideas with the Northern Forest Carbon & Ecosystem Services Network and through an ecosystem services working group of the Coalition for Eastern Forests & Communities.
