The Northern Forest Center is a nonprofit organization based in Concord, New Hampshire, with an office in Portland, Maine. The Center’s Board of Directors and staff are dedicated to collaborating with others to achieve a shared vision for the region based on three essential ingredients: thriving communities, healthy forests and innovative and resilient local economies that can support both.
Board members are drawn from a wide range of fields: business, forestry, non-profit management, conservation, education, community building, cultural preservation and philanthropy. The Center’s staff brings many years of experience in regional strategy development, economic development, forestry, communications, conservation and organizing.
